Tri-Valley Residents Invited to Community Blood Drive in Dublin

City officials say the American Red Cross is in dire need of blood and platelet donations.

The American Red Cross is in dire need of blood and platelet donations. In response, the City of Dublin will host a Community Blood Drive on Friday, January 23, from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM, in the Regional Meeting Room at Dublin City Hall (100 Civic Plaza). Residents may drop in anytime during the five-hour window, or can schedule an appointment at www.redcrossblood.org, entering the sponsor code, DUBLINCOMMUNITY.

Appointments can also be made by calling 1-800-REDCROSS.

Donors with types O negative, B negative, and A negative are especially needed right now. The Red Cross asks that donors hydrate and eat a healthy meal before donating. Photo identification is required, and participants should plan on an hour to complete the process.
