Truck Fire Breaks Out In Livermore

Firefighters contained a truck fire before it could spread to nearby industrial buildings, according to LPFD.

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore-Pleasanton firefighters stopped a truck fire from spreading to a nearby building Saturday, according to an LPFD spokesperson.

On Thursday at around 11:45 a.m., the department received several calls that a semi-truck was on fire near the 6000 block of Industrial Way, just south of I-580. Crews extinguished the fire before it could spread anywhere else.

The truck was destroyed, but no other injuries or structural damage was reported, the department said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
