Fire Near Livermore Homeless Encampment Extinguished
Smoke from the blaze was seen throughout the Tri-Valley area Monday.

LIVERMORE, CA — Firefighters quickly extinguished a vegetation fire near a homeless encampment in Livermore Monday afternoon. The blaze, which was reported near Holmes and Aaron streets at 1:20 p.m., was contained to about one acre, according to the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department.
No one was injured during the fire and the cause of the blaze is not known.
