Wreck Prompts Sig-Alert On I-580: CHP
A truck and big rig were stuck together and could not be easily moved, according to the California Highway Patrol.
LIVERMORE, CA — All lanes have reopened after the California Highway Patrol issued a Sig-Alert for a collision on westbound Interstate 580 near Greenville Road in Livermore this morning. The crash, which involved a big rig and a truck, was reported at 5:45 a.m. and temporarily blocked several lanes of traffic, according to the CHP.
The alert was issued at about 6 a.m. and was lifted about 30 minutes later. No injuries were reported.
