YIBI Presents Christmas Concert at Aegis Gardens
YIBI is an international organization devoted to providing youth with an experience of business participation in the real world
On a chilly Christmas Eve, the international business program, YIBI, visited Aegis Living, where students performed a myriad of heart-warming musical and dance pieces for seniors to see. Despite the foreboding, rainy weather pounding against the window panes, a welcoming, warm atmosphere permeated throughout the vast home. A total of fifteen students participated in the performance, and various instruments, songs, and dances were displayed to attentive seniors.
Ranging from challenging piano pieces to melodious flute songs, YIBI presented a Christmas show that lasted for approximately an hour, filled with bright smiles and twinkling sounds of laughter. A huge, decorated Christmas tree greeted the members generously, seeming to embrace the drenched students and giving them new warmth and belonging. Costumes were changed, spirits were high, and gentle conversations were shared. In return for the impressive show, seniors at Aegis Garden displayed generous hospitality.
The students of YIBI not only exhibited their remarkable talents and abilities, but they discovered a newfound joy in serving the community around them. This Christmas Eve was surely one to reminisce upon for both the grateful members of Aegis Gardens as well as YIBI’s students.
