• EMS calls drive busy year for Lodi Fire (lodinews.com) — Lodi’s fire department handled more than 8,000 calls in 2025, most of them medical, and is now operating with Advanced Life Support certification and a dedicated CENCAL ambulance for local 911 calls. The department also added staff, a new ladder truck, and strengthened regional partnerships to improve response times and coverage for Lodi residents. 
• Lodi Sikh woman's story to be preserved in Library of Congress (lodinews.com) — A 90-year-old Lodi resident, Jasinder Kahlon, is having her life story preserved in the Library of Congress, honoring her role in building the local Sikh community. Her family helped found the Lodi Sikh Temple and has produced civic leaders, including Lodi’s current vice mayor, highlighting the deep impact of immigrant families on San Joaquin County.
