2 Dead, 3 Injured In Boat Fire In Long Beach
The blaze broke out on a boat in Alamitos Bay Saturday.

LONG BEACH, CA — Two people are dead and three people were injured in a boat fire in Alamitos Bay Saturday.
The Long Beach Fire Department is on the scene of the boat fire in the 200 block of Marina Drive. According to a post at about 6:45 p.m. on the fire department's Facebook page, the blaze on the 35-foot pleasure craft has been extinguished.
Two people were killed in the fire, and three others were taken to area hospitals by paramedics for burn-related injuries, according to the fire department.

No firefighters were injured in the blaze.
The fire happened in close proximity to the fuel dock near Fire Station 21. The Long Beach Police Department has closed down streets in the area where the fire occurred.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
