Family Of 3 Killed In Shooting At LA County Home: Deputies

LAKEWOOD, CA — A 17-year-old girl and two adults were killed in shooting at a home in Lakewood Thursday morning, according to authorities.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to the scene on the 5800 block of Lorelei Avenue just before 8 a.m. Three victims were pronounced dead at the scene, according to sheriff's officials.

The victims are described as three family members: a man, a woman and a 17-year-old girl, KTLA reported.

When deputies arrived to the scene, a woman came outside. That woman was taken into custody and was being questioned, according to the station.

"There is no outside threat. There is no threat to the community," Lt. Daniel Vizcarra told reporters at the scene.
