AWE 2026's Auggie Awards Finalists Show XR's Identity Crisis Is Officially Over (gamespace.com) — A major XR and spatial computing conference is coming to Long Beach this June, bringing the 2026 Auggie Awards and a showcase of cutting-edge AR/VR tech. Finalists highlight practical uses like accessibility, education, healthcare, and AI-assisted tools, along with new headworn devices and games. Winners will be announced live during AWE USA 2026 on June 17.
3. Things to do in Long Beach this weekend — including a spooky Queen Mary speakeasy and festival for Toyota lovers (lbpost.com) — Long Beach residents have a packed week of local fun ahead, from a gothic Edgar Allan Poe speakeasy aboard the Queen Mary to Toyotafest at Marina Green Park and a tequila-fueled dance night at MOLAA.
