LONG BEACH, CA — An at-risk 74-year-old man reported missing in Long Beach has been found, while police are continuing to ask for the public's help finding a 37-year-old woman with cognitive issues.
Herbert Lee Brown was located by Long Beach Police Department officers at a local hospital at about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, an LBPD spokesperson told Patch.
Police had issued an alert for Brown earlier Wednesday after he was last seen at about 7 p.m. Monday in the 1900 block of Locust Avenue. Police said Brown had medical conditions, could become disoriented and did not have a cellphone or other means of being tracked.
LBPD did not immediately provide additional information about how Brown came to be at the hospital or his condition when officers located him.
Rich was last seen Sept. 3 leaving a residential facility in the 1200 block of Walnut Avenue, police said. LBPD issued its public appeal to find her Tuesday.
Police said Rich has cognitive issues and listed her possible destination as unknown.
Rich is described as a white woman who is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a cream-colored long-sleeve shirt, white pants and white shoes.
She also has a flower tattoo on the inside of her left wrist.
