This park has plenty to do, plus many places to picnic! El Dorado Park East is located at 7550 E. Spring St and El Dorado Park West is located at 2800 Studebaker Road. Pack a picnic, bring a frisbee and enjoy a day at the park! We absolutely love El Dorado Regional Park and you will too!
Marina Vista Park is one of the top picnic spots in Long Beach, probably because there’s plenty of open room and space. Marina Vista Park has been well preserved and has a lot of parking for your convenience. This peaceful park features manicured lawns, big trees over head, tables, play equipment, picnic areas and tennis courts. It also has a softball field, two soccer fields, and swimming. You’ll enjoy the beauty of this park and create many great memories here. Marina Park Vista is located at 5355 Eliot St in Long Beach. Hope to see you there!
Lost Cerritos Park is perfect for picnics, dog walking and just relaxing. This clean park offers two tennis courts, play equipment and picnic areas. They also have summer concerts and offer tennis classes. This “hidden gem” is another local favorite for family outings. Los Cerritos Park is located at 3750 Del Mar Ave in Long Beach.
Mother’s Beach is a local, marine park that’s great for either a romantic outing or a family picnic. But be warned, when the sun is out, this park fills up quickly! A popular spot amongst the locals, it has a lot to offer, including volleyball courts, a play area and picnic sites. There is also a shallow swimming area and lifeguard supervision, making it a perfect spot for the kiddos! Mother’s Beach is located at Appian Way, below 2nd St, in Long Beach. Don’t forget to bring the sunscreen!
Heartwell Park is another top favorite for the locals to enjoy on the weekends. This park is great for jogging, biking, walking, picnicking or just sitting around and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. The park has a fishing pond, bike path, fitness course, athletic fields and a playground. This peaceful setting is the perfect place to picnic!
