Trading Ages, Aging Sensitivity Training

SCAN Independence at Home's trademarked age sensitivity training is designed to help professionals who work with older adults, and is helpful for anyone who works directly with the public including older adults. 

The training helps participants recognize some of the challenges people experience as they age. Through the use of practical examples and activities, participants increase their understanding around age-related changes that can affect behavior and attitudes. Strategies are shared to improve communication and interactions with professional contacts, friends, and loved ones.

Training runs from 1:30-3:30 pm and is offered as a free service.
