Long Beach, CA – Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine (PRM) will offer programs to safely engage youth ages 5 to 12 during the upcoming Long Beach Unified School District winter break. Winter Camps will take place at various Long Beach parks weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning Dec. 20 through Dec. 30 (excluding Christmas Day on Dec. 25), where campers will be able to enjoy fun games such as capture the flag and kickball. Registration begins Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 8 a.m. in person and at 10 a.m. online.
People may register online at LBParks.org or in person at the locations listed below. Camp registration fees are $30 per week. Financial assistance is available on a first-come, first served basis. For more information, people may call 562.570.3150.

For in-person registration after Dec. 1, people may visit the PRM Administrative Office between weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

To ensure the health and safety of participants and staff, all programs will adhere to lower staff-to-camper ratios and other enhanced protocols.
