Dognap Suspect Who Stole 'Archie' During Home Break-In Sought
It was after the resident came face-to-face with the burglar that he realized his French bulldog was missing from the house.
LONG BEACH, CA – A 32-year-old man, with ties to Orange County and the San Fernando Valley, is wanted in connection with a home burglary and dog theft last month, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Francisco Feliciano, described by law enforcement as Hispanic, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 135 pounds, is sought by authorities for the theft of "Archie," a French bulldog missing after a Long Beach residential break-in on June 17, police said today.
Detectives reviewed security video that included images of a gray Nissan Versa believed to be used in the crime to identify Feliciano as the alleged burglar/dognapper, officials said.

The burglary occurred about 10:45 a.m. in the 2500 block of Quincy Avenue.
"When officers arrived, they learned the residents were in their home when they heard a noise coming from another room,'' according to the LBPD. "When one of the residents went to investigate, he saw an unknown male subject standing in the living room. When the suspect and resident saw one another, they ran off in different directions. The suspect then fled the home and left in a vehicle. It was at that time the residents realized their French bulldog Archie was missing, along with some miscellaneous tools.''

Detectives determined that the suspect had entered the home through an open door. Security video shows a dark gray Nissan Versa pull up to the home and a male suspect getting out of the front passenger seat.
A second suspect "can be seen driving the vehicle, along with a third suspect who was a passenger in the backseat,'' police said.
