Explosives Unit Called To Magnolia Avenue In Long Beach
A few suitcases have been found chained to a bike rack near a parking structure.

LONG BEACH, CA – The sheriff's arson-explosive unit has been called to the 100 block of Magnolia Avenue, between Ocean and Broadway in Long Beach, where two suitcases were found chained to a bike rack near a parking structure, which has been evacuated, police say.
Long Beach police were dispatched to the scene at 1:35 p.m., an official told Patch. Magnolia Avenue between Ocean and Broadway was closed, and Broadway between Daisy and Chestnut was also closed before the conclusion of the police activity around 4:15 p.m., the police official said.
