UPDATE: Long Beach Police Seek Help Finding Missing At-Risk Man

A Long Beach man who was last seen leaving his home the night of April 8 is missing, and police are asking the public to keep an eye out.

At-risk missing person Charles Garner III was located safe and unharmed in the City of Compton on April 10, according to Long Beach Police.

LONG BEACH, CA — A Long Beach man who was last seen leaving his home the night of April 8 is missing, and police are asking the public to keep an eye out for him.

Charles Garner III, 60, was last seen at around 8:50 pm on Wednesday, April 8 leaving his residence on the 3500 block of Wise Avenue on foot.

Police said that he has no cel phone and no other means of tracking. Also according to police, Garner has unspecified medical conditions and may become disoriented.

He was last seen wearing a Navy blue and gray Dallas Cowboys jacket, a white thermal long sleeve shirt, black pants and black Nike athletic shoes.

He also has multiple tattoos: one with the 'smile now, cry later' faces on either his left or right bicep; and the name 'Donna' on either his left or right wrist.

Anyone who may have information about his whereabouts is asked to call Long Beach Police dispatch at (562) 435-6711, or if it's an emergency, call 911.
