Man Still Missing 2 Months After Leaving Long Beach Care Facility

LONG BEACH, CA — Police are asking for the public's help finding an at-risk man who has been missing from Long Beach for more than 2 months, as officials announced that two other missing people were recently located.

Francisco Garcia, 49, was last seen June 10 leaving his residential care facility in the 900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Police said Garcia has medical conditions and may become disoriented.

Garcia is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 245 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police do not know what clothing he was wearing when he disappeared or where he may have been headed.

2 Other At-Risk Missing People Located

LBPD also announced Tuesday that two other at-risk people reported missing earlier this month had been located.

Marcos Solano, 39, was last seen at approximately 2 p.m. August 4 leaving his residential facility in the 1200 block of East 10th Street. Police issued a public appeal for help finding him on August 6.

Solano was located August 8 in Downey by the Downey Police Department, according to LBPD. Police did not provide additional details about the circumstances in which he was located.

Tiffany Jones, 42, was last seen at approximately 3 p.m. August 4 in the 700 block of East Shoreline Drive after leaving her caretaker to use the restroom. LBPD issued a missing-person notice for Jones on August 6.

Jones was located August 9 and returned to her care facility unharmed, police said.

Like Garcia, both Jones and Solano were considered at risk because they have medical conditions and may become disoriented, according to LBPD.
