LONG BEACH, CA — A man was stabbed during an assault in Long Beach, authorities said Sunday.
Officers dispatched at about 6:15 p.m. Saturday to a report of a stabbing in the 700 block of Shoreline Drive located a man suffering from non- life-threatening wounds to the upper body, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Paramedics rushed him to a hospital.

"Officers were unable to locate a crime scene," according to a police statement. "The motive and suspect information remain under investigation."
