Man And Woman In Critical Condition After Motorcycle Accident
The Long Beach Police Department is on the scene of a crash between a car and a motorcycle in East Long Beach Monday afternoon.
LONG BEACH, CA — Two people were in critical condition following a crash between a motorcycle and a car in East Long Beach Monday afternoon, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
LBPD officers were dispatched to the intersection of 10th Street and Redondo Avenue after reports came in about the crash around 2:30 p.m. When they arrived, officers found a male motorcyclist and his female passenger with severe injuries.
Paramedics transported the pair to a local hospital where they remain in critical condition, LBPD said.

No information about the driver of the car involved in the accident was available.
Officers are still at the scene conducting an investigation and nearby streets are closed while the investigation continues. Redondo Avenue from 8th Street to 11th Street and 1oth Street from Newport Avenue to Coronado Avenue are closed to traffic.
