Photos: You're Never Too Old for Love, Marriage and Whatever!
The Prime Time Players cast had an average age of 77. That alone is remarkable!
Sometimes I take time out from pitching my new fan page WackyCapNTrish to take in a show, especially one with a friend in it.
Friend Caprice Rothe (WackyCap of WackyCapNTrish, Hands of E.T.) is a troupe member of the Prime Time Players.
Yesterday I attended the last performance of "Love, Marriage and Whatever", a song-filled play put on by the Prime Time Players at the Senior Center on 4th Street near downtown Long Beach.
Perhaps the most remarkable thing about the Prime Time Players is their age. With the youngest in yesterday's show coming in at a young 57, the eldest coming in at 94, the average age was a healthy 77.
And I mean healthy. They danced and sang and tripped the light fantastic in a restaurant set of Lola's Restaurant.
I enjoyed the familiar songs. My favorite? Fly Me to the Moon. Yes, I am a Sinatra fan.
Enjoy the photos.
