Plane Makes Emergency Landing On Long Beach Street
The plane landed on a street near a park at Orange Avenue and Willow Street.

LONG BEACH, CA – A single-engine airplane made an emergency landing on a street near Long Beach Airport Monday, with no injuries reported.
The airplane, which had just taken off from the airport, set down about 10:15 a.m. in the 2700 block of Orange Avenue, said airport spokeswoman Cassie Chauvel.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the pilot was the lone occupant of the Piper PA28, which landed "for unknown reasons" on the street southwest of the airport.

The FAA is investigating.
