Long Beach Grand Prix: Everything You Need To Cross The Finish Line
All the info you need to know about events, races, entry and tickets to this weekend's 48th annual Acura Grand Prix in Long Beach.
LONG BEACH, CA — Racers and visitors alike flocked to Downtown Long Beach Friday morning for the kick-off of the 2023 Acura Grand Prix.
The three-day weekend event, headlined by the third round of the NTT Indycar Series and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, will be jammed with activities and races.
“Coming off a very successful event last year, we are looking at providing an even more attractive weekend,” said Grand Prix Association of Long Beach President and CEO Jim Michaelian.

Gates each day open at 7:30 a.m. and visitors can expect to see the Super Drift Challenge on Friday and Saturday nights, the Speed/UTV Stadium Super Tricks, the Historic F1 Challenge and the Porsche Deluxe Carrera Cup North America.
Along with the races food trucks, concerts, the Lifestyle Expo, Mothers Exotic Car Paddock and Family Fun Zone will also entertain guests throughout the weekend.

Just days ago, former Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver drummer Matt Sorum was named Grand Marshal for Saturday's IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race. In front of thousands in the crowd, Sorumm will say the iconic lines "Drivers, start your engines!" before the race takes the green flag at 2 p.m.
The full schedule of events is available on the Grand Prix website and includes live musical performances and of course, three days worth of exciting high-speed races.
General admission tickets for the Grand Prix range from $33 to $82 for single-day passes and $112 for a 3-day pass. Reserved seating is a little more expensive costing $84 for Saturday, $107 on Sunday and $175 for all three days.
