Rex Richardson To Be Inaugurated As Long Beach's Next Mayor

LONG BEACH, CA — Mayor elect Rex Richardson will be officially sworn in at an Inauguration Ceremony that will take place on Dec. 20, according to city officials.

Along with Richardson, inaugurations of other recently-elected officials will also take place including:

• City Attorney Dawn McIntosh
• City Prosecutor Doug Halbert
• City Auditor Laura Doud
• District 1 Councilmember Mary Zendejas
• District 3 Councilmember Kristina Duggan
• District 5 Councilmember Megan Kerr
• District 7 Councilmember Roberto Uranga
• District 9 Councilmember Joni Ricks-Oddie

The ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Terrace Theater with a reception to follow at 7 p.m. at the Pacific Ballroom in the Long Beach Convention Center.
