Snoop Dogg To Headline Long Beach Amphitheater Grand Opening In June

LONG BEACH, CA — Snoop Dogg & Friends have been announced as the headliner for the June 6 grand opening of the Long Beach Amphitheater. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, April 3.

The Amphitheater, located at 1051 Queens Highway, Long Beach, CA 90802, is an under-construction outdoor concert venue that will have a capacity of 11,000 seats.

Despite not having been completed yet, the venue, located near the Queen Mary, has already lined up several well-known performers to play there later this year, including rapper Lil Wayne (Aug. 1), classic pop-rock band Toto (Aug. 14), country artist Luke Bryan (Aug. 15) and hip-hop acts Nas and the Roots (Aug. 28).

The names of the performers scheduled to share the stage with Snoop have yet to be revealed, but are likely to include rappers and singers who have a Long Beach connection, such as the legendary Warren G., of "Regulate" fame.

Tickets go on sale at 10 am April 3 at Ticketmaster.com. Live Nation All Access members will be able to access tickets 24 hours earlier.
