The Interconnected Internet

There was a time when I didn't know what the term blogger meant.  Even after I knew the definition of the word... I still didn't know what it meant to be a blogger.  I think I can safely say that now, I know what a blogger is.

That's because I am a blogger and... I LOVE it!

I love it because it lets me see the interconnectedness of the internet.

The posts that I put up here on Patch, on my Makersville site or my Handmade Penguin site...  The videos that I put up on my Squigglemom youTube channel...  These all get seen here in Long Beach.  BUT... reposting of and linking to videos and content spread the words you write and say out to the entire world.

Well, I guess there may be some folks in Africa and on small islands in the South Pacific that don't have access to the internet.  But I wouldn't say that for sure... Because you never know who's left their smart phone or whatever internet device behind them when they went trekking around the world.

I always wondered why all those folks kept putting comments with annoying urls on my site.  Now I know.  They're trying to connect more of the internet to their site.  And they think that my Handmade Penguin and Makersville sites will help them to get there.  And I believe it will.

In all reality, anyone can blog.  You can set up an account on a host of blogging sites.  It helps if you know how to and like to write.

I've had some interesting observations about the interconnectedness of the internet.  I'll share them with you sometime.
