No, not for final exams or tests. Day two of Formula Drift is happening right NOW.
This morning, the field of 32 teams was bracketed down to the final 16, which will go in tandem until only one driver remains. Last year Daijiro Yoshihara took the championship for Round One in Long Beach. The overall and current champion, Michael Essa took the top spot in qualifying yesterday.
There have been a couple mechanical issues and one crash. The field now rests at 16 drivers to go. Will Daijiro take it again in Long Beach for a back to back, or is there someone else in the pack that can unseat the current champion?
Finals start at 3 pm TODAY, and we will be back to bring you all the post-race coverage!
