Woman Killed In Crash On Long Beach (710) Freeway
The motorist, who was in her 70s, died at the hospital, an official said.

LONG BEACH, CA – A motorist was killed in a crash on the southbound Long Beach (710) Freeway in Long Beach Thursday morning, police said. The crash was reported about 4:35 a.m. south of Pacific Coast Highway, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The woman, who was in her 70s, died at a hospital, said coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter. Her name was withheld, pending family notification.
Officers closed the southbound freeway for several hours while an investigation was conducted.
