1 Wounded In Fairfax Shooting, Gunman At Large
Los Angeles police set up a perimeter around La Brea and Willoughby avenues Monday night in search of a shooter.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Los Angeles police are looking for a man who shot a person in the Fairfax District Monday night. The victim was hospitalized in unknown condition.
The shooting occurred just after 7:30 p.m. near the Sprouts Farmers Market. Los Angeles Police Department officers set up a perimeter around the area of La Brea and Willoughby avenues to find the shooter, according to LAPD Officer Drake Madison.
As of 10:30 p.m., police were still searching for the suspect.

Police described the suspect as a man wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt and burgundy pants.
Authorities did not say what led up to the shooting nor what the possible motive was.
