
LOS ANGELES, CA -- Three people were hospitalized Saturday after a crash on the Hollywood (101) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles that involved at least seven vehicles, including a big rig.
The condition of the injured was not immediately known, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The crash occurred about 2 a.m. on the southbound freeway, near North Broadway, the California Highway Patrol reported.

A SigAlert issued at 2:20 a.m. closing all southbound lanes of traffic was amended at 2:29 a.m., opening up the No. 1 lane. The SigAlert was canceled at 5:09 a.m. when all lanes were re-opened.
