LOS ANGELES, CA — The race for mayor has taken shape, with 14 candidates in the running to serve as the city's chief executive.
The list of candidates in the running for mayor was finalized earlier this month. Though dozens of candidates initially filed paperwork, 14 people qualified by the final deadline. That consists of incumbent Mayor Karen Bass and 13 challengers who are seeking to unseat the mayor as she seeks a second term.
Among the challengers are progressive Councilwoman Nithya Raman, reality star turned Bass critic Spencer Pratt, tech entrepreneur Adam Miller and minister Rae Huang.
