2 South LA Schools On Lockdown Amid Reports Of Shooting

LOS ANGELES, CA — A shooting near two high schools in South Los Angeles prompted the multiple school lockdowns Thursday morning as a precaution, according to Los Angeles Unified School District School Police.

Fremont High School and Hope Continuation High School were both placed on lockdowns while the Los Angeles Police Department investigates a report of shots in the 7600 block of South San Pedro Street.

According to police, no injuries have been reported. At least two possible suspects have been taken into custody.
