2 Teens Stabbed At LA High School, Prompting Olympic Boulevard Closure

Authorities have shut down all lanes of Olympic Boulevard as they investigate an attack on two boys at the school.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Traffic is shut down in both directions of Olympic Boulevard where two teenage boys were stabbed Monday afternoon, according to police.

Just before 4:30 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department was called to respond to a report of a stabbing at Los Angeles High School in the 4600 block of West Olympic Boulevard, said LAPD Officer Mellissa Podany.

Two victims — reportedly 14 and 16-year-old boys — were rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Investigators believe the suspects fled the scene in two vehicles, according to KCAL9.

There was no immediate word on their condition.

The investigation is ongoing and roadways all around the school are likely to remain shut down Monday evening as the investigation continues. Los Angeles Unified School District Police Department is expected to lead the investigation, said Podany.
