$25,000 Reward Offered For Info On Hit-And-Run Driver

On April 3 a hit-and-run driver injured a pedestrian, hospitalizing him for weeks. Now police are offering a reward for info on the driver.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities Friday announced a $25,000 reward for information that helps find the hit-and-run motorist responsible for critically injuring a pedestrian in the south Los Angeles area.

The 40-year-old man, whose name was not released, was injured about 2:30 p.m. April 3 at Broadway and 43rd Street, and he remains hospitalized, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police released security video of the hit-and-run vehicle, described as a white 2014-2020 Toyota Tacoma pickup with a cargo roof rack, black rims and a bed cover. No description of the motorist was available.

A standing $25,000 reward was in effect, offered by the city of Los Angeles for information that helps solve hit-and-run cases.

Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call detectives at 213-833-3713; 877-LAPD-247; or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
