3 Arrested Freeway Shooting That Shut Down The 10 For Hours
The investigation into the shooting forced the overnight closure of the Santa Monica Freeway transition roads.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Three people were arrested in a shooting on the eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles overnight. The shooting shut down the freeway for hours.
It wasn't immediately clear if anyone was struck by the gunfire. The shooting happened at about 12:10 a.m. on the transition road from the eastbound Santa Monica Freeway to the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The investigation into the shooting prompted the closure of the eastbound and westbound Santa Monica Freeway transition roads to the Harbor Freeway until about 4:30 a.m., the CHP said.
