LOS ANGELES, CA — Three people were killed and six others were injured when a 92-year-old driver collided with a bicyclist and then lost control, slamming into a Westwood grocery store on Thursday afternoon.

The crash was reported at 12:11 p.m. at the 99 Ranch Market at 1350 S. Westwood Blvd., on the corner of Rochester Avenue in Westwood, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The woman driving a Toyota Prius hit the bicyclist and then continued for another block before sweeping in the bakery section of the market. When she came to a stop, several people were underneath the car, police and fire officials said.
