3 Shot In East Los Angeles

EAT LOS ANGELES, CA — At least three people were wounded Sunday in a shooting in East Los Angeles.

The shooting was reported around 5:50 p.m. Sunday in the 4000 block of San Carlos Street, at East Cesar E. Chavez Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The status of the victims was not immediately available, sheriff's officials said.

Homicide detectives were sent to the scene, officials said.
