Over 30 SoCal Museums Offer Admission Completely Free For A Day

Museum-goers are in luck as more than 30 museums from Santa Barbara to Santa Ana will let visitors in for free on Sunday, Feb. 5.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Visitors can enjoy free admission to more than 30 museums throughout the southland thanks to SoCal Museums' Free-For-All day on Sunday, Feb. 5.

For the first time in person since 2020, visitors will be able to enjoy art, film, natural history, science and cultural heritage from Santa Barbara to Santa Ana.

"We are thrilled to be able to collectively welcome visitors from across the region on this special day once again. The Museums Free-for-All has always been a celebration of the varied and remarkable institutions in Southern California, and it is meaningful to continue this tradition of accessibility and joy," said Briana Sapp, SoCal Museums President.

SoCal Museums said the free-for-all serves as a reminder that many museums offer free visitor days year-round, which can be found at socalmuseums.org/free.

The free-for-all offer only applies to museum admission, SoCal Museums said. Specially ticketed exhibitions and parking fees still apply at specific museums.
