4 Injured In T-Bone Crash After Driver Runs Red Light On Vanowen

According to police, a driver ran a red light and was t-boned causing the vehicle to roll over on West Vanowen Street Thursday afternoon.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA —Four people were injured Thursday afternoon in a roll-over crash on West Vanowen Street after a driver ran a red light, according to police.

Two people sustained critical injuries in the crash, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey. As of 2:20 p.m., authorities were still at the scene investigating, and commuters were being advised to avoid the area.

The crash occurred shortly before 12:30 a.m. in the 11400 West Vanowen Street.

"One of the vehicles ran a red the light and was T-boned at the intersection and the passenger suffered a rib injury," said LAPD Officer Aareon Jefferson.

At this time, there is no sign that drugs or alcohol were factors in the, Jefferson added.
