4 Killed In Fiery 110 Freeway Rollover Crash
The driver of an Infiniti spun out of control and slammed into a sound wall, according to the California Highway Patrol.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Four people were killed in a fiery crash on the Harbor (110) Freeway Thursday night when a driver slammed into the sound wall, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred shortly after 11:30 p.m. on the southbound side of the freeway at the Slauson Avenue onramp in the South Los Angeles area.
Los Angeles firefighters arrived to find the vehicle overturned and fully engulfed in flames, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

"As many as four persons are believed deceased within the still smoldering wreckage," he added.
According to the CHP, the crash occurred when the driver of a four-door, Infinity sedan missed it's offramp and pun out of control.

"The driver just missed the Slauson offramp and went in between the off and on [ramps], and then spun out of control and went into the sound wall," CHP Officer Roberto Gomez told KTLA.
The CHP is investigating the circumstances leading up to the fatal crash. Investigators believe speed may have been a factor.
"Four lives lost. Four families affected due to someone's speed and the way they drive," said Gomez.
