40-50-Foot Tree Falls In Greek Theatre Parking Lot; 1 Injured
One woman was injured and about 30 parked cars were damaged after a tree fell in the Greek Theatre parking lot at the end of a concert.

LOS ANGELES, CA — One woman was sent to the hospital after a large tree fell in the parking lot of the Greek Theatre, shortly after a Wednesday night concert.
The tree, which Los Angeles fire crews estimate was 40-50 feet, fell for unknown reasons at around 8 p.m. Wednesday, and damaged about 30 parked cars, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The 35-year-old woman was taken to a hospital to be treated for a nonlife-threatening injury to her lower leg, firefighters said in a statement.

Rangers from the LA Department of Recreation Parks searched cars, but found no one outside.
The tree came down at the end of a sold-out show for the Oakland-based duo Brijean and Texas-based trio Khruangbin, according to the Los Angeles Times.
