405 Freeway Body Shuts Down La Cienega Ramp

LOS ANGELES, CA — A body was found Thursday near an onramp to the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway in the Lennox area of the county near Inglewood.

The body was discovered about 9:30 a.m. near the La Cienega Boulevard onramp, which was closed while an investigation was conducted, according to the sheriff's department and the California Highway Patrol.

Information was not immediately available on the gender or identity of the person, or on the cause of death.
