$484K Powerball Ticket Sold In Los Angeles County

LOS ANGELES, CA — A Powerball ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, was sold at a liquor store in Los Angeles County, the California Lottery announced.

The ticket was purchased at Andy's Liquor at 440 W. Manchester Blvd. in Inglewood.

A second ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, was sold at a Safeway in Vacaville in Northern California.

Both tickets were worth $484,265, according to the California Lottery.

The numbers drawn Saturday were 3, 18, 27, 36, 53 and the Powerball number was 12. The jackpot was $443 million. There were no tickets sold with all six numbers.

Drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The estimated jackpot is $460 million for Monday's drawing.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in 292,201,338, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game. Powerball is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
