5 Big Rig Pile-Up Triggers 605 SigAlert
The California Highway Patrol is working to get the mangled big rigs off the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway.
COMMERCE, CA — A SigAlert has been issued for the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway near Commerce where five big rigs crashed blocking two lanes Monday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol is warning drivers to avoid the southbound side of the freeway south of Washington Boulevard. The crash happened shortly before 12:30 p.m., according to the CHP. Crews are working to get the disabled trucks towed from the freeway. It wasn't immediately clear if anyone was injured in the pile-up.
