5 Lunar New Year Celebrations at Disneyland

Starting Jan. 23 to Feb. 22, 2026, Disneyland Resort welcome the Year of the Horse with the fan-favorite Lunar New Year celebration.

Beginning today through Feb. 22, 2026, Disneyland Resort welcome the Year of the Horse with the fan-favorite Lunar New Year celebration at Disney California Adventure Park.

This celebration is a tribute to Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean traditions, through music, food, beverages, parades and light shows.

1. FOOD AND BEVERAGES

Limited-time festival features food and beverages inspired by Asian cuisine, vibrant entertainment and themed merchandise.

The festival menu boasts 35 new food and beverage items, including japchae noodles, spicy pork belly grilled cheese and guava dragon fruit cocktail.

2. MULAN'S LUNAR NEW YAR PROCESSION

Daily entertainment offerings during this joyous event include Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession led this year by Horace Horsecollar, special Disney character appearances, live music and dance performances. The celebration extends to Pixar Place Hotel with limited-time menu offerings at Great Maple and The Sketch Pad Café.

3. MEET DISNEY FRIENDS

Beloved Disney characters will also debut all-new outfits showcasing cultural representation with Donald Duck and Daisy Duck donning traditional Chinese attire and Goofy and Clarabelle Cow sporting attire inspired by Vietnamese traditions.

Guests can experience Lunar New Year at a great value with various ticket and dining options available. Foodies can save with the purchase of a Sip and Savor Pass, which can be redeemed for six select food or nonalcoholic beverages from participating locations in Disney California Adventure Park.
