The actor was attacked and robbed at gunpoint Thursday night.
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — "Pretty Little Liars" and "Walker" star Keegan Allen was recovering Friday after being attacked and robbed at gunpoint in West Hollywood, where authorities planned to mount additional patrols in response.
Allen posted a video to his Instagram around 9:15 p.m. Thursday directly following the robbery in the store's parking lot. He appeared bloody and breathless outside the high-end grocery store Laurel Supply, located at 8445 Santa Monica Blvd.
"Robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint by two young men that threatened to kill me over my watch and would have! God said no tonight," Allen wrote in the caption of the Instagram post.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed "the victim was struck in the face with the handgun. The suspects obtained the victim's watch and fled the scene in an unknown vehicle."
Allen sustained a laceration to his head and was treated at the site by Los Angeles County Fire personnel. He was not transported to the hospital, officials said, but the actor said he later went to a hospital and was certain he had suffered a concussion.

Allen said he was attacked while loading groceries into his vehicle and tagged Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and California Governor Gavin Newsom while expressing hope that Flock cameras mounted around the city would help in tracking down the vicious hoodlums.
"West Hollywood is a compassionate and engaged community, and news of this violent robbery is deeply upsetting and unsettling," according to a statement issued on behalf of the city, which is separate from Los Angeles, with its own mayor and city council. "The city wants community members to know that community concerns are heard and taken seriously, and that public safety remains the city's top priority. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is actively investigating this incident, and additional patrols will be conducted by sheriff's deputies and the city's security ambassadors."
Anyone with information regarding the violent robbery was urged to contact West Hollywood Station Detectives at 310-855-8850.
