Actress Katey Sagal Struck By Car In Los Angeles
The actress was hospitalized Thursday but is expected to make a full recovery after being hit by a Tesla as she walked in a crosswalk.
LOS ANGELES, ca — Actress Katey Sagal is in the hospital today after being hit by a car in Los Angeles.
The "Sons of Anarchy and "The Conners" star suffered minor injuries and was hospitalized Thursday after a car struck her as she walked in a crosswalk on Thursday, TMZ first reported. She was expected to make a full recovery and to be released from the hospital on Friday.
The crash occurred at about 11:40 a.m. Thursday at an undisclosed location in Los Angeles, according to TMZ. A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson was unable to confirm the incident to Patch on Friday.

"We're told she was at a crosswalk when a Tesla making a left turn apparently didn't see her and tagged her," TMZ reported. "Our sources say cops issued no citations and no arrests were made. There were also no drugs or alcohol involved....We're told the driver of the car did stop to help Katey, and she was transported by ambulance to a local hospital and treated for her injuries."
The 67-year-old Sagal, who is also a singer/songwriter, is perhaps most famous for playing Peg Bundy on the Fox sitcom "Married ... With Children" from 1987-97.
