Alan Ruck Pizza-Shop Crash Was Possibly A Tech Mishap: Report

The "Succession" actor crashed his pickup truck into a pizza shop last month. Police say it may have just been a tech mishap, TMZ reported.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Police have ruled out the possibility that "Succession" star Alan Ruck committed a crime when he crashed his truck into a Hollywood pizza restaurant late last month, but they have another theory — the crash could have been the result of his electric vehicle's high-tech features, according to reports.

The Oct. 31 crash occurred at the busy intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea Avenue. Surveillance video obtained by KTLA shows Ruck's Rivian R1T truck rear-ending a car stopped at a traffic light before hugging another car and finally crashing through a wall at Rafallo's Pizza.

Los Angeles Police Department investigators ruled out the possibility that the actor was intoxicated or committed a crime, KTLA reported.
