Amber Alert: 3 Children Abducted In SoCal, Police Say

RIDGECREST, CA — An Amber Alert was issued Wednesday afternoon for three children, ages 4-10, who are believed to have been abducted and who were last seen in Ridgecrest.

Maximus, Kaiser and Hailee Roman were last seen around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the area of East Coso and East Las Flores avenues, according to California Highway Patrol, who identified 29-year-old Julio Roman-Garcia as a suspect.

Roman-Garcia is 5 feet, 11 inches tall; weighs 400 pounds; and has black hair and brown eyes, authorities said. He is believed to be driving a 2014 gray Honda Accord with the California license plate 9RUN898, according to police, who said he was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and black sweatpants.

Maximus Roman is 10 years old; 4 feet, 7 inches tall; 50 pounds; and was last seen wearing a gray tank top and jean shorts, authorities said.

Kaiser Roman is 8 years old; 4 feet, 6 inches tall; 45 pounds; and was last seen wearing a blue shirt and jean shorts, according to police.

Hailee Roman is 4 years old; 3 feet, 4 inches tall; 30 pounds; and was last seen wearing an orange tank top and a flowered skirt, authorities said.

All of the children have black hair and brown eyes, according to police.

The alert was issued for Kern, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Ventura, Orange, Riverside, San Diego, Imperial and San Luis Obispo counties.

Anyone who sees them is asked to call 911.
