101 Freeway Closures Planned Through Cahuenga Pass For Paving Work

Drivers should expect lane and ramp closures through the Cahuenga Pass.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Drivers traveling north on the 101 Freeway through the Cahuenga Pass can expect overnight lane and ramp closures next week as Caltrans crews perform paving work.

The northbound 101 will be reduced to two lanes overnight between Highland Avenue and the 170 Freeway as part of an ongoing pavement rehabilitation project, according to Caltrans.

The closures are scheduled from Monday, Aug. 17, through Saturday morning, Aug. 22. The schedule is subject to change.

Monday night, Aug. 17, through Friday morning, Aug. 21:

Friday night, Aug. 21, through Saturday morning, Aug. 22:

Drivers should also be aware of a separate round of overnight closures on the southbound 101 Freeway in Hollywood on Thursday, Friday and Saturday for bridge rehabilitation work. Read more about those closures here.
