LA CRESCENTA, CA — All westbound lanes of the 210 Freeway were closed near Pennsylvania Avenue Wednesday after a crash involving two big rigs.

At least one of the trucks overturned and spilled its load across the freeway. Traffic was being allowed through the area using the center median, according to a Sigalert.

Video aired by KTLA showed the overturned big rig and boxes and other items scattered across the roadway around noon. Another vehicle appeared to be pinned beneath the truck, KTLA reported.

At least three people were taken to a hospital in unknown condition, according to the station.

Crews were working to clear the wreckage and spilled cargo from the freeway.

The crash was one of two incidents involving big rigs on the westbound 210 Freeway Wednesday.

In a separate crash in Sunland, a big rig caught fire and flames spread to a nearby hillside.

Traffic continued to be impacted by that crash as of 12:30 p.m., only two lanes were open.
